COIN enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on the new 12-sided £1 coin in Glasgow.
The coin is being made available at a select few banks on Tuesday, March 28, across 14 cities that are acting as new coin hubs.
The Bank of Scotland on Argyle Street and Clydesdale on St Vincent Street will have the new collection.
The UK public are being urged to dig out their round pounds in order to spend or return them before October 15. The new coin will help to tackle the scourge of counterfeits and some of the old round pounds will be melted down and reused to make these.
