A MAN who suffers from dementia vanished from a city bus while out with his wife and was found by police within hours.
Police launched a hunt for Mario Coia who vanished on Friday afternoon.
Police say the 86-year-old was with his wife on Dumbarton Road, Scotstoun between 12pm and 12.30pm.
They both got on a number three bus heading to Silverburn but had to sit separately on the bus.
During the journey, Mrs Coia noticed her husband was no longer on the bus.
As he suffers from dementia she contacted police to report him missing.
Police say she was understandably very upset.
He has been found safe and well.
