DUNDEE UNITED have confirmed that midfielder Wato Kuate has signed a short-term deal at Tannadice until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old, a product of the Manchester City youth system, has earned a contract after impressing during his recent trial with the Ladbrokes Championship outfit.
Kuate has already made appearances for the Tangerines' Development side as well as featuring in Sean Dillon's testimonial game last week.
The holding midfielder will stay on at the club until the end of the season after recent spells in Turkish and Greek football.
“Wato has impressed us enough with what we have seen from him in training and development matches recently," said United boss Ray McKinnon.
"He has talent and a powerful, muscular physique and signing this deal allows us to look at him and nurture the undoubted raw ability he has.”
