BRENDAN Rodger’s magic man has returned and is ready to play a big part in Celtic’s bid for history.

Tom Rogic missed the best part of four months of the season with an
ankle injury, but now he’s back and is in a hurry to make up for lost time.

With the manager des-cribing him this week as potentially one of European footballer’s best midfielders, the 23-year-old will definitely have a part to play.

Rogic said: “It is nice to be back. I have been out a little while now and working hard the last couple of months and nice to be back on the pitch.

“For the team and the club it has been a fantastic year and a fantastic season and personally up until my injury things were going great. I still consider it a very good season.

“I have definitely had my rest. There is still a lot to play for this season. We know that as a group and there is definitely no letting off and everyone  is working hard together and we will keep pushing until there’s no more games.”

Rodgers has been good with Rogic during his time on the sidelines, something the player is grateful for.

Rogic said: “He’s been fantastic, very good throughout my injury. He always spoke to me and gave me that added motivation to keep working hard and everyone has been good to me while I have been injured.

“I have been trying to learn as much as I can when I can and as I said there has been motivation there to keep working hard and pushing to get back into the team.

“We always discuss things together as he does with every player, without setting goals and targets, the manager is someone who I have learned from and I think everyone in the squad has.”
