A Scottish Domino's franchisee couple have raised more than £27,000 for charity in just six months.

Graeme and Lisa Tobias, who own a string of pizza stores, raised thousands for charity partner Teenage Cancer Trust.

The couple raised funds through charity pizza deals running at nine stores based in Ayr, Clydebank, Govan, Greenock, Irvine, Johnston, Kilmarnock Glasgow Road, Kilmarnock Titchfield Street and Renfrew.

As part of a special online Teenage Cancer Trust charity pizza deal, more than 400 Domino’s team members from nine different Scottish stores have freshly handmade and delivered 221,360 slices of pizza, equivalent to the distance between Celtic Park and Ibrox.

Teams served up a mouth-watering  231,000 slices pepperoni over the six-month period - ranking as Scotland's favourite in the charity offer.

Graeme Tobias from the Domino’s team, said: “It’s been a fantastic effort from everyone in the Domino’s team over the past six months, from those hand-making pizza to those delivering it fresh to order. We set ourselves a target of £10,000 to raise for this charity close to our hearts and are extremely grateful to every single person who has helped us to raise this substantial sum, from our own team to everyone who has ordered through the Teenage Cancer Trust deal. We are thrilled to be able to help in some way through our group of stores and will continue to raise as much as we can!”
