Humberside Police moved quickly this week to highlight the issue of sexting after receiving numerous reports of young people sharing sexual, naked, or semi-naked images of themselves.
An in-depth glossary of a jaw-dropping 112 codes, parents are now being given a ‘dictionary’ of terms to keep them in-the-loop with and to help them keep their family safe.

“We’re urging parents to talk to their children about the dangers of sexting as it could lead to embarrassment, blackmail, or even a criminal record,” the force said.
Officers added: “We know talking about sexting with your child may feel uncomfortable or awkward, but it’s incredibly important to discuss the risks, teach them how to stay safe, and explain how these reports can use up valuable police investigation time.”
So, without further ado, this is the complete sexting code glossary being given to parents:
