Superstar musician Ed Sheeran has confessed to getting drunk on Buckfast at the age of 15 while on a Scottish night out.
The chart-topping singer revealed all during an appearance on the Capital's Breakfast Show on Monday.
He told presenters Des Clarke, Steven Mill and Amy Irons how his Scots cousins took him out one night and let him try the "sludge".
Describing the event he said: "That was my first actual night out. I was 15 and my cousin took me to a dub step club. I have a bunch of cousins who live up here and they all had these black bottles and they’re drinking this kind of sludge.
"They said, have some, and man, it kicks you."
He also admitted it gave him a massive hangover.
The singer who played the SSE Hydro in Glasgow last night was also given an Easter egg dubbed Easter Ed in the shape of his face by presenter Amy Irons.
