WASTEGROUND under the M74 is to be transformed into a performance space with music, dance and lights.
Glasgow-based dancer Mele Broomes will perform solo show VOID just off Scotland Street under the motorway.
The night time performance runs on Friday and Saturday and will see an acrobatic show from former gymnast Mele.
VOID is based on a science fiction story, Concrete Island, by JG Ballard and tells a Robinson Crusoe-style tale of people who must fight for survival under a motorway bridge.
There are just 80 tickets available for each performance, meaning the audience will get a close view of the dancer.
The show is part of Dance International Glasgow, a festival from Tramway running in the city from April 21 to May 21.
