Officers hunting a gunman who shot a man in the leg during an attack in Shawlands have released CCTV images.

Cops believe the man in the footage may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

The incident happened around 8.10am on Thursday March 9, when 34-year-old businessman Ross Craig was shot in the leg outside of a house in Shawhill Road, Shawlands.

The victim was treated at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and has since been released.

The man from the CCTV image is described as white, approximately 5ft7 in height and medium to stocky build.

On the day of the incident he was wearing a grey beanie hat, light coloured t-shirt, black trousers, a mid-length dark green khaki jacket, with an emblem on the sleeve, and black boots.

He is spotted on CCTV in Shawhill Road at the time of the incident and then towards Pollokshaws Road via Hector Road and Rossendale Road.

Anyone with information about the man can contact the Incident Room at Cathcart Police Office via the non-emergency number 101.
