CCTV images have been released of a man police want to speak to after a teenager was seriously assaulted in Glasgow city centre.
The 18-year-old victim was targeted at around 3.10am on Friday, January 13.
He was assaulted in Sauchiehall Street near to Dalhousie Street. He was taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was released after receiving treatment for serious injuries.
Detectives believe that the man shown in the images may have information that could assist them with their investigation and would appeal to him or anyone who recognises the man to contact police.
He is described as a white male aged between 20 to 30 years old, around 5ft 10ins, medium build, and he was wearing dark skinny jeans with rips, blue jacket and blue top with a light coloured pattern.
Anyone with any information about the incident or who recognises the male in the images is asked to contact Detectives at Stewart Street Police Station on 101. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
