The new store, in Glasgow Central, has has created 30 new jobs for locals and comes shortly after Domino’s celebrated its 20 year anniversary in Scotland.
The Glasgow Central store opening will see Domino’s invest over £250,000 into the local area, giving the community a welcome employment boost.
Limited edition ‘Scots Favourite’ Pizza Legend will be added to the menu including Scotland’s most loved pizza toppings.
The nation's best loved pizza launched it's own tartan family today designed by Glasgow designed Ken MacDonald and has been offered to staff who want to upgrade their uniforms.
Colleagues can also officially hang up their aprons as part of the Scottish-themed celebrations – and replace them with new Domino’s family attire - with two in three of the Scottish workforce keen to wear them.
Scott Couper, Store Manager at Domino’s Glasgow Central, said: “Domino’s has been in Scotland for over 20 years so we have strong ties and affinity with the country, the people and the culture. Our very first store in Scotland opened just up the road in Glasgow so we’re proud to be opening the country’s 63rd store 20 years on. The kilt is very much a family tradition in Scotland and that is how we see ourselves at – one big family all striving for the same goal of delivering freshly-made, great tasting food to pizza lovers all over the country.”
