GLASGOW Rotaract will host a charity ball this weekend to raise vital funds for Shelterbox.

The sold-out event will be held at the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor on Saturday.

Incoming president Marc Boyd said: "We wanted to raise money to help people who have been victims of natural disasters and conflict."

The organisation, which is opened to 18 to 30 year olds, meet on the first and third Wednesday of every month at 6.30pm in Barburrito, Glasgow.

They are always looking for new members and anyone who is interested in joining can contact www.facebook.com/glasgowrotaractclub/
