AVID cyclists from across Glasgow have come together ahead of the European Cycling Challenge.
Glasgow took part in the event for the first time last year and placed 18th having cycled a total of 127,750 km.
This year, the challenge is set to be bigger than ever as seven local authorities take part.
East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire have teamed up with the NHS to form Team “Glasgow City Region”.
The boundary includes much of the Clyde Valley and everyone is invited to take part in the challenge which runs from May 1 to 31.
The European Cycling Challenge aims to encourage all kinds of commuter, leisure and utility cycling.
Anyone who signs up for the challenge will receive a promotional saddle cover and snap band.
Throughout the event there will be prize draws for those taking part and multiple categories for the 120 prizes.
