PASSERS by may have been a bit shocked after a fundraiser known as The Gimp Man of Essex rocked up in a full-body latex suit.
The mysterious fundraiser appears in public with his costume in order to raise money for mental health charity Mind.
Earlier this week he took his unusual fundraising methods to Maldon, encouraging onlookers to take a photo and send it to his facebook page, where for every photo posted he donated a pound to Mind.
@ChrisMoyles @RadioX How about this for fan devotion. Has anybody had a Chris Moyles tattoo? pic.twitter.com/vy0vqLHa2g

In a post on his Facebook page, the Gimp said: “Fun in Maldon today. I do like the ‘He is risen’ banner on the church in the background.
“It took a little while to get going today, but people soon realised it was a bit of fun and went with it. The Gimp enjoyed.
“Please send any photos or videos that you may have or know of then we can donate to Mid & North Essex Mind.”
