A MAN has been convicted of making sectarian remarks after called police officers f****n b*****ds.
Stephen Airdrie, from Morefield Road, shouted the insults when he was arrested on November 7, 2016.
The 34-year-old was arrested while at Asda in Govan, and shouted "f**k the pope" while in custody.
Airdrie appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this week before Sheriff Lindsay Wood.
His solicitor said: "This is a man who is consuming alcohol or consuming drugs will behave in this manner."
Sheriff Wood said: "He just comes out with rubbish" to which his solicitor agree, and added: " anything to offend."
Airdrie was ordered to stay at home between 9.30pm until 5am for four months on a restriction of liberty order.
