As Glasgow and its surrounding areas prepare for a mini heatwave next week, we can’t think of a better way of spending the warm days sitting out the back - with some boozy ice lollies.
Thanks to Aldi, those summer parties and barbecues are well and truly sorted as the supermarket chain launches a range of premium ice popsicles.
Capturing the growing popularity of alcohol-infused ice pops - which have become a must-have staple at weddings, festivals, and at swanky bars across the country - Aldi has taken popular classic cocktails and to create two refreshing flavours much to our delight.

Crisp and icy gin and tonic with a zing of lemon and sweet and sparkling peach bellini are the two which are being snapped up this weekend.
Made with prosecco from the Padova and Venice regions of Italy, the bellini popsicles combine peach and the fizz to give folk the perfect accompaniment during and after the May bank holiday.
The Evening Times reported this week on how the city is set to sizzle in the sun from Wednesday onwards with the mercury hitting highs of around 17C.

STV weatherman and meteorologist Sean Batty, said on Twitter: “Look out the flip flops, especially if you’re in west. Looking good next week.”
And, as if that wasn’t enough, he added: “I reckon somewhere on northwest coast could get close to 20C.”
Aldi-goers can get their hands on the frozen alcoholic treats in stores nationwide now at £2.99 for a box of four. Please note they are only suitable for customers aged 18 and over.
