The new eastbound M8 stretch opens for the first time today.
The seven-mile route will be opened to eastbound traffic between Baillieston and Eurocentral.
The new M8, running between Newhouse and Baillieston, was closed in mid-February to facilitate construction works to connect the new M8 Motorway into the existing A8/M8 carriageway at Baillieston.
The westbound carriage opened last week, five days ahead of schedule.

Transport Scotland said: "After opening, traffic management, signed diversions and temporary speed restrictions will remain in place to allow final construction work to be completed.
"As a result, road users are being urged to familiarise themselves with the route maps which profile typical journeys eastbound and westbound along the A8/M8 corridor."
