Cops have launched an inquiry after a man’s body was found on a piece of land in Erskine in the early hours of this morning.
Police were alerted to the grim discovery at around 5.40am.
Officers said he was found on the ground adjacent to Rashielee Avenue which is believed to be next to Park Mains High School, reports the Daily Record.
Officers are currently treating the death as unexplained.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland told the Evening Times: “At around 5.40am, police received a report of a man’s body being found on ground adjacent to Rashielee Avenue.
“Enquiries are underway to identify the man and officers are treating the death as unexplained pending a postmortem examination.”
