TOMORROW is your chance to join us at the heart of our newsroom as we join local titles across the UK to hold an interactive #TrustedNewsDay.
As part of our campaign to Fight Fake News we are inviting you to be part of it.
We want to hear from you ahead of our facebook live newsroom chat. It is a chance for you to hear from our team of experienced journalists and for you put your own questions to us.
Evening Times news editor Deborah Anderson said: “We are giving you the chance to see firsthand how we put your beloved paper together. Join us tomorrow when you can see how we gather news and deliver the news you want to read.
“You can also quiz our editorial team about how we take decisions about stories both in our newspaper and on our website.”
Our journalists will be talking about their jobs and why providing honest journalism is the reason they entered the profession.
You can join us tomorrow through this newspaper’s website - or ask us a question on Twitter through @theeveningtimes using #TrustedNewsDay.
The day will feature a question and answer session on our Facebook page facebook.com/eveningtimes from 2pm.
Fighting Fake News has seen hundreds of local papers highlight their highly-trusted credentials through features, news stories, infographics and videos.
The campaign, which launched a week ago, will continue to run up to and through Local Newspaper Week next week.
