A petition has been launched in an attempt to convince the parents of missing Madeleine McCann to take part in a lie detector test.
Ethan Taylor wants Kate and Gerry McCann to prove they had nothing to do with their daughter's disappearace in 2007.
He plans on presenting the petition to TV host, Jeremy Kyle and the UK Govenment once it reaches the 50,000 signatures goal.
He created the petition on the popular change.org website on Wednesday and it has already been backed by more than 47,000 signatures.
Stating his reasons for starting the campaign, Ethan wrote: "This has been going on for 10 years now and still no answers.
"I feel as though this would finally put an end to the debate of whether the McCanns had any involvement with their daughter's disappearance."
Madeleine vanished from the family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal on May 3 2007 when she was three years old - her mother Kate said the 10th anniversary is a "horrible marker of time, stolen time".
Kate and her husband Gerry McCann, of Rothley, Leicestershire, have always vowed to never give up hope of finding their daughter.
