It’s the bru-mance no one saw coming.
Just a day after Irn-Bru dabbled in a bit of Scottish banter with rock legends Iron Maiden, the fizzy drink brand has now delivered specially-made bottles of Irn-Mdn to the group in Glasgow.
Ahead of the rockers’ gig at the SSE Hydro tonight, the group has taken to its social media accounts to show off a glass bottle of everyone’s favourite pop emblazoned with a specially-made label.

On Monday, the band’s Twitter shared a picture of the iconic Irn-Bru logo with an altered Iron Maiden design with the message: “Scotland here we come! Glasgow tomorrow, Aberdeen on wEDnesday.”

Irn-Bru responded from its own Twitter account: “From one metal legend to another... we salute you #maidenscotlandfromgirders.”

So it seems the banter between both has been so solid that Barr decided to extend some glass bottles to the English musicians.
“Hats off to @irnbru, who had these delivered to the @TheSSEHydro,” Iron Maiden said, adding: “Irn Bru for the Krew! #IronMaiden #TheBookOfSoulsWorldTour #Glasgow.”
