As if Evening Times readers aren’t already trying to contain their excitement over a) Tim Hortons opening at the Four Corners and b) the world-famous food truck hitting the city on Friday, the Canadian coffee chain just cannot stop teasing.

As the city braces itself to get a first taste of Timbits (doughnut holes) and double, double coffee (two creams, two sugars), the team has just gone and posted the most hypnotic video clip.

In 30 seconds of pure delight, Tim Hortons has sent thousands of Facebook users off into Timbit heaven, showing the doughnuts DRIPPING with icing.

The clip is sure to get the city riled up just days after announcing on its social media pages: ““Glasgow… IT’S TIME! The Tim Hortons Truck  will be making its way to your city on Friday 19th. #TimHortonsUK.”

The Evening Times previously reported how the shop’s first UK branch will be in the city’s Four Corners.

The coffee and bakery chain announced last month that the city will be home to its flagship store as signs appeared which confirmed it will be housed at the busy junction in Argyle Street at Union Street.

The site, which previously housed a Chinese fast food restaurant and Dunkin Donuts, revealed a massive marketing poster for the brand which sent the city into overdrive.

Tim Hortons announced in September last year it would be expanding into the UK, with an unannounced number of locations to be built.

Fans of the 50-year-old chain have been sharing their excitement at the news online ever since.

Restaurant Brands International, which also owns Burger King, said the UK openings would be part of a worldwide expansion plan.

The chain bought the firm two years ago.

Glasgow will be the first British branch before the chain is rolled out across England and Wales.
