There are just two games to go for Celtic to reach the unbeaten milestone and what we have seen since the league was won is that there hasn’t been any softening in their approach.

What I think is that you have a squad of players who are desperate to stay in the team because there is a fear that if you are not in there, then you might not get back in.

Of course, there is the nucleus of the team who are certain starters but as we have seen throughout the campaign there is a chance for a player to come in and take his chance – the way that Stuart Armstrong has this season.

In any case, there has been absolutely no slackening off as the games have been counted off and I think that comes down to the mentality that is imparted to the players from the manager.

There is a standard that they are expected to maintain and they have been successful in going out and doing that.

They have been pretty phenomenal. They will look forward to their day on Sunday when they get the chance to celebrate with the trophy in front of family and friends and it is a day that is always a superb experience.

I don’t think you can ever get tired of that. I am sure they will look to turn on a performance at Celtic Park as they bring the curtain down on what has been a special season before then turning all thoughts to the Scottish Cup final.

To my mind Aberdeen are the team who provide the sternest opposition to Celtic and I don’t think there is any doubt that you expect them to make a strong game of it at Hampden. We saw that last week at Pittodrie but this week is all about celebrating what has been achieved in the league over the last 10 months.
