A section of the M8 was closed off during rush hour on Thursday after a car caught fire close to the Clyde Tunnel.
Two fire crews were attended the incident under a bridge near Junction 25 at the Cardonald Interchange at around 4.20pm.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze quickly, but there were lengthy delays for motorists on the eastbound approach.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
