A YouTube creator has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the family of Georgina Callander who died during a terror attack in Manchester on Monday night.

Georgina, known to her friends as 'Gina', was an 18-year-old Ariana Grande fan who was excited to see her idol perform at the Manchester Arena.

The young fan, from Whittle-le-Woods in Lancashire, was one of 22 people killed by the blast as she left the concert at the 21,000-capacity venue.

Luke Cutforth from Sheffield started the fundraising page to give the money to Georgina's family to help pay for funeral costs and to allow them time to grieve without financial worry.

Speaking about why he started the fund, he said: "Gina enjoyed the content that my friend Dodie (and others) put out and we decided to use our audience to help her family through this hard time."

The GoFundMe Memorial Fund for Gina has already raised more than £9,000 from over 680 donations.
