A BANNED driver who flouted the law by taking to the roads twice has been jailed.
Jonathan James Irwin, 27, appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court after pleading guilty to the offences.
Irwin, who appeared from custody, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance on two separate occasions.
The first offence was committed on December 5, last year on various roads including Lomond Gardens, Elderslie and Gleniffer Braes, Paisley.
The second offence was committed on January 19 on Dumbarton Road and Merkland Street, Glasgow.
Irwin, of Maple Drive, Johnstone, was jailed for four months which was reduced from five months because of his early plea.
He was also banned from driving for a total of 15 months which was reduced from 18 months due to his early plea.
