The X Factor team is ready to hit Scotland as part of a nationwide tour once more in search of the next big breakout music stars to join its ever growing hall of fame.

The team has today announced it will be holding open auditions across the next few months, with Glasgow and Edinburgh dates the first to be announced.

Those looking to the Glasgow auditions should head along to the St Enoch shopping centre on Saturday, June 3 between 9am and 6pm.

For those in the capital, singers should head for the Omni Centre in Greenside Row on Sunday, June 4, between 10am and 6pm.

All budding hopefuls need to do is turn up on above-stated dates and times specified.

If they impress The X Factor team, they will be in with a chance of auditioning in front of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne, and Nicole Scherzinger when the judges’ auditions take place in the summer.

Auditions will be on a first come, first served basis throughout the times.

Auditionees may be asked to sing acapella, however, they are being urged to bring along a backing track on CD, phone, USB, or a guitar, although there will be no guarantee they’ll be able to use this.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and have valid ID.
