Aldi is urgently recalling a line of bottled beers over fears customers may be allergic to an undeclared ingredient.
The retailer’s Brasserie Gluten Free Organic Pale Ale contains barley which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to barley, however, the beer does not pose a risk to consumers with coeliac disease.

Any customers who have bought the product and have an allergy to barley have been advised not to drink it.
Instead, they should return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
No other Aldi or Brasserie products are known to be affected.
