Tickets to Liam Gallagher’s first-ever solo gig in Glasgow have sold out out, minutes after he made the announcement on his Twitter.

The former Oasis singer sent music fans into a frenzy after unveiling a string of solo shows on his social media accounts, with tickets being made available from 9am this morning.

However, the seetickets.com site quickly displayed a ‘sold out’ message, disappointing many fans who had been looking forward to heading along to the Barrowland Ballroom on June 11 to see the music legend.

The tickets were snapped up for just £30.94 each, with booking fee.

The money raised from his Manchester show, at the O2 Ritz on May 30, will be donated to the Manchester Evening News’ British Red Cross appeal, which was set up to help relatives of those affected by Monday night’s Manchester Area bombing.
