Scotland basked in the Bank Holiday heatwave on Friday as dozens of people flocked to Kelvingrove Park to enjoy the sizzling sunshine.
For some, the hot weather was too much and a cooling dip in the River Kelvin was just the rememdy for remperatures that hit 28C.

Scots hoping for a scorching weeekend may be disappointed as forecasters predict temperatures will start to drop on Saturday with a chance of rain and thunderstorms throughout the long weekend.
