A MAN was sentenced at Glasgow Sheriff Court for coming on to a woman in his taxi.
Jose George, 50, of Yokermill Road, admitted that between December 6 and December 7, 2015, at Renfrew Street, Jamaica Street and Overdale Avenue, he placed the hand of a female passenger on his body, kissed her on the hand and repeatedly ask to meet up with her.
As part of the same charge he also seized her phone, entered his number and repeatedly phoned and text her and left a voicemail.
He also admitted not being a licensed taxi driver at the time.
He was placed under supervision for two years and sentenced to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work.
