One of the victims of the Manchester terror attack has been remembered by a touching t-shirt campaign.

Martyn Hett, 29, was confirmed as one of the Ariana Grande fans killed at the Manchester Arena on Monday.

Friends of the PR manager from Stockport have designed a t-shirt featuring tributes to him by celebrities including Michelle McManus, Mariah Carey and Nick Grimshaw to raise money for his family.

The PR manager from Stockport was popular on social media and had appeared on several television shows including Tattoo Fixers and Come Dine With Me.

Following the news of his death, hundreds of tributes to Martyn were posted online including by his partner Russell Hayward who described him as "iconic and beautiful".

His mother Figen Murray said her son was "an experience" and an "icon"

Friends of Martyn, Philip Normal and Holly Shortall, have since designed a t-shirt featuring some of the kind words said about him since his death.

Quotes about Martyn from Michelle McManus, Nick Grimshaw and Mariah Carey are all included in the design.

The t-shirt is being sold as part of a GoFundMe page at the cost of £25 with all profit going to Martyn's family.

A post on the page reads: "In loving memory of the fabulous Martyn Hett that was so tragically taken away from us too soon, artist and friend Holly Shortall created a wonderful tribute.

"Following a cry from social media that we produce it as a t-shirt, we thought it would be a fitting tribute to offer this design, with all profit going to Martyn's family, or a charity, organisation or project of their choice.

"Martin brought so much joy to people's lives in such a short amount of time, and he will never be forgotten.

"Through this t-shirt we would like to create something positive in the face of such tragic events."

Martyn's close friend James Ockerby wrote: "If you wanna be an icon then you have to own this t-shirt."

Over £900 has already been raised since the Martyn Hett T-shirt Campaign was set up earlier today.

Martyn was a self-confessed superfan with his love for Coronation Street's Deirdre Barlow making him an online sensation.

His entertaining Twitter feed caught the eye of the media, most memorably when he saved his mum's knitting career with the help of his online followers.

He was due to leave for a trip of a lifetime to America just days after the concert.
