A MOTORIST helped another driver after he crashed his car in Irvine.
Police officers at Irvine police station are now appealing for witnesses and information following the serious road crash which occurred in the town in the early morning of Saturday, May 27.
The 32-year-old man was driving a Vauxhall Astra in Shewalton Road at around 6.40am when he crashed, causing minor injuries to his arm. A passing male motorist stopped to assist the man, and emergency services were called.
He was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
Constable Scott Nicol is dealing with this enquiry and he is appealing to the motorist who stopped to assist the man to contact him via 101, quoting incident number 1468 of May 27.
