THE SNP think voters are “stupid” over independence, according to the LibDems.
Scottish party leader Willie Rennie said Nicola Sturgeon was downplaying independence now but said it would quickly be top of the agenda after June 8.
Ms Sturgeon said at the launch a referendum should be held a teh end of the Brexit process.
Mr Rennie, said: “The SNP must think we are stupid.
“They barely mentioned independence today but we know independence will be their top priority once the election is over.
“We know that because after every previous election that’s exactly what they’ve done.
“ At every election they pretend they are fighting for the greater good but all they ever fight for is independence. “
