Teenage singer Sarah Ikumu has been revealed as the judges' wildcard choice for the Britain's Got Talent grand final.
Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams were keeping secret the name of the final act to compete on Saturday in the ITV show's finale after deliberating over which of the competitors not voted through by the public deserved another shot.
Ikumu, 16, was the favourite to make the cut as her failure to make it through the semi-finals had come as a shock to viewers.
As the final began, presenters Ant and Dec broke the news that the singer would be back on stage.
Cowell said: "To be honest there was only one person we all felt genuinely deserved to be in the final this year and so the decision was easy."
Ikumu will go up against Matt Edwards, Issy Simpson, The Missing People Choir, Daliso Chaponda, The Pensionalities, MerseyGirls, Tokio Myers, Ned Woodman, Kyle Tomlinson, and DNA.
The winner will receive £250,000 and a spot at The Royal Variety Performance.
