A BULLY taunted his abused ex with a domestic violence poster that stated: “No one else will want you” - as he awaited sentencing for tormenting her.

Callous Robert Frew changed the photo on his WhatsApp messenger app to the official Police Scotland campaign advert.

His former lover Claire Cameron, 35, recalled she was “absolutely distraught” when she discovered what he had done.

The poster read: “Look at the state of you. No one else will want you.”

It also included the caption: “Emotional control is domestic abuse too”.

Frew carried out the stunt after pleading guilty to threatening and abusive behaviour towards Claire after an incident on Christmas Eve 2015.

The 32 year-old, of Shettleston, Glasgow, was given a £400 fine.

But, he ended up back in the dock last month after Claire reported further torment at his hands.

He forced her to give harrowing evidence over four days – before prosecutors accepted his guilty plea to engaging in conduct that caused “fear and alarm”.

However, he walked free again after a sheriff instead ordered him to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work.

The couple dated for almost two years having met online on February 2014.
