A MAN was sentenced at Glasgow Sheriff Court after he had over £1,000 of drug in his possession.
Police found quantities of two different types of cannabis in the 27-year-old’s possession.
The court heard that the 271 grams of the herbal and resin forms of the cannabis came to a total of £1,135.
The procurator fiscal said police found the dugs amongst items such as a set of scales, a grinder and a mobile phone.
Mullen admitted that on December 2 last year at Stonelaw Road he was concerned in the supply of herbal cannabis.
He also admitted that on the same date at the same place he was concerned in the supply of cannabis resin.
Mullen’s solicitor said Mullen was to be paid for holding on to the stash which was given to him in a bag. He was sentenced to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.
