The home of a gangland boss seriously injured in a knife attack is reportedly under police guard.
According to the Daily Record, Steven “Bonzo” Daniel signed himself out of hospital last week after coming out of a medically induced coma.
A police car has since been spotted outside the drug dealer’s house in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow.
Daniel, the nephew of late gangland boss Jamie Daniel, was attacked in North Glasgow in May.
The 37-year-old was left with facial injuries during the attack which happened after a high speed chase through the streets of Possilpark.
He was attacked in his car in Craighall Road, Port Dundas. He had been driving a dark blue Skoda Octavia south on Saracen Street when two cars began to pursue him at speed. This eventually caused him to bring the vehicle to a stop and at this point, he was attacked by the occupants of one of the cars.
He was so badly injured in the attack that paramedics at first thought he had been shot.
