FEARS are growing for the safety of a manwho has been missing for five days after he failed to return home.
Robert MacGregor was last seen at his home in Carfin Street, Motherwell at 4pm on Tuesday.
He got into his car, a white Mercedes, CLA 180 and drove off. When he didn’t return later that evening, his family reported him missing.
Robert is described as white, around 6 ft 2 inches in height with a medium to heavy build and short black hair. He was wearing a white shirt with jeans and was driving a white Mercedes CLA 180 car, registration number PX17 LDO.
Police are checking CCTV footage for any information which could help.
Inspector Alan Dron said: “Robert is known to frequent numerous areas throughout North Lanarkshire and officers are currently carrying out enquiries and searches in the local and surrounding areas to trace him.
“Robert has recently been dealing with some personal issues, resulting in his family becoming increasingly concerned for his well-being.
“If anyone has seen Robert or his car, please contact us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with any information or knowledge regarding Robert’s whereabouts is asked to call officers at Motherwell Police Station via 101, quoting reference number 4304 of June 20, 2017.
