BUS fans were given the rare chance to ride vintage vehicles as part of the West End Festival.
The Vintage Bus Service brought historic restored buses and coaches to life by allowing members of the public to travel on board them “on service”.
The service was made possible thanks to the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust (GVVT) who worked with Glasgow Life.
Bus fans rode on restored vintage buses from the GVVT’s collections, dating from the1950s to the 1980s.
The buses travelled all around the West End with members of the public not paying a single penny for the experience.
The buses travelled from the Riverside Museum and took in Byres Road, Botanic Gardens (main gate), Anniesland Cross and Broomhill, with passengers able to get on and off the different stops.
