They’re also getting geared up for games in the Czech Republic and Ireland before the season gets underway in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

The team’s official Twitter page shared a set of images of the guys training in the pouring rain in what was originally forecast to be a warm day with sunny intervals.

“#CelticFC have brought the Glasgow weather with them to Aigen! #HereWeGoAgain,” reads the caption.

Speaking with the media at Glasgow Airport before jetting off yesterday, assistant manager Chris Davies said: “We’ve had a year working with the players and developing the areas that we wanted to when we first came in, so we’re in a good place,” reports Celtic FC.
“Hopefully we can go away to this camp and refocus together and come back stronger,” he added.
