River City actor Jordan Young is all set for tonight’s Europa League clash, so much so, that it looks as though he may even be thinking about a career change.
The TV star and footie fan posed for a selfie in his Rangers top ahead of his team’s return to the European scene after a six-year exile.
He also joked about how he hopes Gers boss Pedro Caixinha will let him loose on the pitch at Ibrox for a ten-minute stint.
Taking to his Twitter, he wrote: “Attire sorted for Thursday evening. Hopefully big Pedro will give me a run oot for ten mins.”

“Your almost 40 mate,” hit back one of his cheeky followers, to which Jordan quipped: “But I look like I’m in my late teens. Also, it’s you’re, you’re a teacher. I’m VERY disappointed in you.”
Touché.
Other fans weren’t so harsh, as one told Jordan: “I think you would fit right into the team!” while another added: “Yessss Jordan! always knew you were my fave! Enjoy the match on Thursday big yin!”

“Looking good sir. Royal blue will do that for anyone,” said another.
Jordan also surprised another Twitter user who’s now his biggest fan. The user told the Scot Squad star: “Didn’t realise you were one of the people fella, your my new favourite character on River city ..”
The UEFA Europa League First qualifying round against Luxembourg team Progrès Niederkorn kicks off at 7.45pm at Ibrox.
