A Glasgow hairdresser who failed to get into the Big Brother house will return to the show tonight in a surprise twist.

Twenty five year old Andy Cruickshanks who celebrated his birthday just last week has been asked by producers to hot foot it to London where he will be one of the Second Chance housemates to re-enter the show.

Andrew's sister let it slip on his Facebook late last night that he will be going back on TV.

She said in a post: "Its Andrews sister, Andrew will be going into the big brother house tomorrow, SURPRISE! Watch it tomorrow at 9pm on channel 5."

Glasgow Times:

Andrew had been disappointed he hadn't made the cut first time round and revealed it was a close call after he had come second in the voting process.

He had said after his first appearance: "I'm going you've not heard the last of me."

He told friends: "Massive thank you to everyone that voted for me last night I am so grateful, the experience and the support has been phenomenal!!! second place by public vote is just unreal... This is not the end of my journey keep your eyes peeled my angels. That house is missing a wee Scot!! We are truly the best people in the world, thanks everyone from bottom of my wee blue heart iloveyou. Ps. Nikki Grahame tweeted about me and voted for me, that's like the best thing ever she's an absolute legend!!"
