COPS in West Lothian believe two cars nicked during break-ins could be in Glasgow.
Officers have urged the public to be on the look out for the stolen cars which were snatched this week in Linlithgow.
The cars were taken during housebreakings which took place between the late evening of Monday, July 10 and the early morning of Tuesday, July 11.
An address in Bells Burn Avenue was broken into and car keys taken from within, which were used to steal a dark-coloured Mercedes-Benz with the registratiobn number SL14 UYR.
An address in Springfield Road was also broken into and keys taken, which were used to steal a grey Nissan Navara with the registration number LY16 VTJ from the property.
Police say the car thieves are believed to have headed west on the M8 towards Glasgow with both vehicles.
PC Julias Nyamakanga, of Bathgate Police Station, said: "I'm eager to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious persons in the area of Bells Burn Avenue and Springfield Road in the early hours.
"Similarly, anyone who has seen the stolen Mercedes-Benz or Nissan Navara or has information on their whereabouts is asked to come forward immediately."
