A MAN has been banged up for three months after shoving a cop and shouting abuse.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard William Kennedy was drunk when he pushed PC Liam McLeish.
Officers had been called to Ornsay Street around 8.40pm on January 24, 2016, to reports of a man causing a disturbance.
They found Kennedy, 54, and noticed he was under the influence of alcohol.
When PC Liam McLeish attempted to detain Kennedy he pushed him in the chest and shouted: "F**k off you a*******s."
Kennedy's defence lawyer said: "He has a significant difficulty with alcohol."
The court heard Kennedy, of Ashgill Road in Milton, is currently serving a 10 month jail sentence for a separate offence.
Sheriff Daniel Kelly sentenced Kennedy to three months in prison to run consecutively to his current sentence.
