ADDITIONAL needs pupils are celebrating after being gifted a new outdoor classroom.
Landlord Sanctuary Scotland provided the facility at Cumbernauld’s Redburn School, for children with complex additional support needs, as part of the regeneration of Cumbernauld’s high-rise blocks.
Head teacher Niki Lavery said: “The impact has been phenomenal. They have developed their confidence in familiar and unfamiliar situations because the learning now taking place supports them to access playgrounds and activities in their local community.”
