TEMPERATURES are set to sizzle this week - as forecasters predict an 'African heatwave'.
Glasgow is set to bask in sunshine over the coming days and mercury is set to hit highs of 26C on Monday.
Tuesday will see similar temperatures as warm air arrives from Spain, which hit 47C last week.
Wednesday will be a little cooler at 19C, so best take advantage of it while you can.
Weathermen also believe there could be another hot spell later on this month, with an increased chance of a “very hot” summer that could last until October.
The improved weather is thanks to an 'African heatwave' heading to Scotland - which comes as a relief for Scots after plenty of cloud and rain recently.
