A MAN who was found seriously injured in a Motherwell street has been hospitalised.
The 41-year-old was found at Merry Street on Sunday, July 16 at around 1.15am.
Emergency services took him to Wishaw General before he was transferred to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Detectives are continuing their enquiries to determine what happened.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 1.15am on Sunday, July 16, police were called to a report of a man lying injured on Merry Street, Motherwell.
“Emergency services attended and a 41-year-old man was taken to Wishaw General before being transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
