WITH doughnuts taking over cupcakes as the newest dessert trend, it would have seemed unlikely that it would take such a savoury twist.
However while cupcakes remain sugary, a Glasgow restaurant is ditching the dough and frying rings of macaroni and cheese.
Drury Street bar and kitchen has created a buzz online after posting a sneak preview of their new menu items.
The mac and cheese doughnuts will be coming soon in a range of flavours; pizza, BBQ bacon, plain cheese and spring onion with sriracha.
They'll be available in a couple of weeks - we can't wait!
