Glasgow gymnastics club takes home top prizes at UK event
A GLASGOW gymnastics club has had success after competing in an event against young gymnasts from all over the UK.
Sapphire Gymnastics Club battled it out in the British Trampoline and Tumbling NDP Finals at The International Centre in Telford earlier this month taking home several medals.
There were 75 clubs competing in the finals from all over the UK and Sapphire Gymnastics Club prize winners included Milly Taylor, Emilly Haldane, Brandon Kerr, Lucy Kilgour, Niamh Hughes, Amy Anderson and Sophie Dickson.
The club, which was founded in 2010, are based Lochburn Road in Maryhill.
A new facility in Baillieston is expected to open in August.
